Each one has a star with a rusty heart accent that I have attached with rusty curely wire. His cut out wood nose is cute as a button and I have given him rosy cheeks and hand painted facial features. A new snow guy for all you snowman collectors out there. This is my smaller version of my snowman #1712 I made my snowman from vintage chenille bed breads that I tea stained. I have given my guy small bead eyes, a sculpey nose, twig arms and accented him with rusty bells. he has a homespun scarf with a tiny rusty Christmas tree. I weighted him so he will stand nicely on a shelf or any where you might place him. He stands approx. 6" tall
Snowmen hats were my passion this season and I designed and made a variety of sizes of them. This size is just perfect for a shelf or counter top. The hat itself measures approx. 5" tall by almost 7" for the brim and the greenery and goodies make it approx. 12" tall. I used a brushed black cotton fabric for the hat and brim then put it thru my grubby process for an aged primitive dirty look. I have filled the top with greenery and berries dusted them with my mixture of snow and diamond dust with Myca flakes thrown into the mix. I added 2 of my hand made primitive chenille candy canes, cinnamon sticks and a grubby battery operated tea lite candle that I grubbied with my secret mixture of spices.
I found these cute painted jumbo snowmen jingle bells and had to add them to my collection. So I am offering them to my customers that collect snowmen for their collections too. I have added my snow covered pine cones a couple pieces of snow brushed pine and some sprigs of berries to accent the bell. I sprinkled the snow mixture with my mixture of Myca flakes and glitters for a nice sparkling sheen. The bell has a rusty wire loop hanger for hanging and measures approx 4" across. perfect addition for all snowmen collectors in their primitive country decorating.
