These are handcrafted Santa faces that can be used on your tree as an ornie or on a shelf as a sitter. I have even used them in my treenware as accents to my arrangements. This cute design is a pattern by my friend Tracie of Old Prim Dolls. They measure approx. 9" tall and feature a sculpted nose black button eyes and mop string hair and beard. His adorable homespun hat has a rusty bell attached to the end. Assorted homespuns have been used for the hat and no color choice is available. No two will be exactly alike.

This primitive black Santa doll is made using a pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm. He has been painted sanded and dressed in his tea stained red ticking suit. I love his sculpted hands and toes. Not to mention his nose and mouth. His beard is real sheep's wool and really sets him apart from other Santa's. He has hand painted eyes that just give him his personality and he is holding two tea stained candy canes tied with a homespun bow. He has a rusty jingle bell accent on his hat and you can't see them but has tiny rusty jingle bells for buttons on his shirt. No glue used in his construction everything is stitched down to his hat on his head. He won't be losing his hat in a blustery storm. Oh no he won't. I just love him and he adds the perfect touch for a primitive Christmas celebration.
